Texas Criminal Alien Arrest Data Repudiates the Left’s Propaganda
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) recently released data on arrests and convictions of criminal aliens that refutes the Left’s fictional story about “undocumented immigrants.” We’ve all heard the Left’s claims that every future Democrat who has entered the U.S. illegally is a virtuous, peaceful, contributing member of society, but reality provides inconvenient facts to the contrary.
According to status indicators reported to the Texas DPS, “over 235,000 criminal aliens have been booked into local Texas jails between June 2011 and October 2017” charged with more than 625,000 criminal offenses. The docile aliens were arrested and charged with 1,276 homicides, 74,528 assaults, 17,856 robberies, 75,033 drug offenses, 758 kidnappings, 42,979 thefts, 48,298 obstructing police charges, 6,721 sexual assaults, and 9,382 weapons offenses. Unfortunately, we do not how many people were harmed by these illegal aliens, but the number is in the hundreds of thousands obviously.
Although we do not know how many people’s lives were significantly altered, other than those whose lives were ended, by illegal aliens in Texas, we know local prosecutors have secured 280,000 convictions; small victories for heinous crimes that are preventable. These 280,000 convictions include 530 homicide convictions, 28,038 assault convictions, 8,765 burglary convictions, 36,857 drug convictions, 264 kidnapping convictions, 19,577 theft convictions, 23,702 obstructing police convictions, 2,117 robbery convictions, 3,093 sexual assault convictions, and 3,902 weapons convictions, a lot of crimes representing a lot of victims.
Every effort must be made to secure America’s southern border to prevent crimes like those committed by illegal aliens in Texas. Every crime perpetrated by criminal aliens can be avoided by not allowing people to enter the U.S. unlawfully. The Left claims illegal aliens make America a better place by merely being in America, but reality disproves such an outlandish claim. Hundreds of thousands of people can testify, some are unable to testify because they were murdered, to the fact that illegal aliens are not missionaries sent to enrich the lives of Americans.
