Governor Terry McAuliffe and Mayor Michael Signer Are Guilty of Willful Negligence in the Death Of Heather Heyer

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), an organization that used to defend freedom of speech for all Americans before it became a subsidiary of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), has confirmed that the mayor of Charlottesville, Michael Signer, gave the stand down order to local police officers that led to the chaos that resulted in the death of Heather Heyer. We must remember that state and local law enforcement officers were on the scene, which means Governor Terry McAuliffe was in charge of the state police and Signer was in charge of local police. Hence two orders were issued.

McAuliffe, a longtime friend, and ally of Bill and Hillary Clinton has political aspirations beyond the governorship of Virginia. McAuliffe has made no secret of the fact he is considering a run for the White House in 2020. A presidential candidate needs a lot of national exposure to build name recognition and a brand that he can sell to his political party and voters; why not intentionally turn a rally into a brawl between warring tribes, then declare a state of emergency?

State and local police stood idly by and watched AntiFa, Black Lives Matter, and Neo Nazis attack each other on the streets of Charlottesville, and within a matter of a few hours after the mayhem subsided, McAuliffe had declared a state of emergency and was in Charlottesville giving “impromptu” interviews on the sidewalk. Did a hurricane, tornado, or earthquake decimate Virginia? If not, why did McAuliffe declare a state of emergency?

You’re still not sold on the distinct possibility that McAuliffe is a political opportunist who understood that allowing oppositional hate groups to meet on the streets of Charlottesville would lead to a violent clash that would receive wall-to-wall coverage by the mainstream media and propel him into the spotlight? Retired NYPD Detective Harry Houck is also confused by the indifference of the state and local police who if allowed to do their jobs would have prevented the situation that led to Heather Heyer’s death.

“When I watched the video of the rioting going on, I did not see any police in sight. If the police were allowed to plan and coordinate properly, they would have blocked streets from traffic and kept opposing sides apart. You would never see what happened in Virginia happen in New York City. This police response was pathetic and shows all the signs of coordination by politicians, not the professional cops. You have to ask yourself, were the cops ordered to stand down?”

Houck is puzzled by the failure of police officers to use police work 101 tactics to maintain order. Houck is on the right track, all he’s missing is McAuliffe 2020, and a progressive mayor that aspires to higher office.

Signer is also a politician who viewed the rally taking place in Charlottesville as an opportunity to gain national exposure. Signer did not let the bedlam that he allowed to engulf Charlottesville go by without capitalizing on it for his benefit. Heyer’s body was still warm when Signer appeared on national shows such as Face the Nation and State of the Union to spew his venom and blame President Trump for the violence that took place in his city. How can the mayor of Charlottesville be blameless for what happened in his town? How does Signer’s appearances on national television help Heyer’s family deal with the death of Heather? Will Signer’s divisive rhetoric help anyone? Signer’s appearances on national television might help his political career and the hateful barbs he lobbed at President Trump might endear him to Democrats/Liberals/Progressives who might be able to help him in his pursuit of higher office, but both are useless to Heather Heyer’s family and the residents of Charlottesville.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions said, the Department of Justice (DOJ) is going to investigate the Charlottesville incident that resulted in Heather Heyer’s death and multiple injuries to other people. Hopefully, the DOJ’s investigation will seek to answer with complete certainty who ordered state and local police to stand down and why such an order was issued. An investigation into the events that transpired in Charlottesville is necessary but would be incomplete if McAuliffe and Signer were not treated as suspects possibly guilty of willful negligence in the death of Heather Heyer.

We live in a post constitutional America where competing tribes sell their votes for the promise of freebies. America is on the cusp of being lost to Marxists and their army of bureaucrats unless the American people move outside of their comfort zone and get involved the same way Marxists have gotten involved by infiltrating the political, educational, and bureaucratic systems.
