Army Diversity Training Includes “White Privilege”
Diversity training sessions at Fort Gordon in Georgia include slides on “white privilege.” The United States Army is wasting time and your tax dollars on diversity “training.” Your tax dollars are being used to develop slide presentations that include the following words of racist wisdom:
“White privilege gives whites little reason to pay a lot of attention to African Americans or to how white privilege affects them.”
“To be white in America means not having to think about it.”
These nuggets of racist wisdom were part of the “training” session on The Luxury of Obliviousness.
An army spokesman, Captain Lindsay Roman, told The Washington Times that an investigation into the slide presentation was underway. Capt. Roman said, “The unit [Equal Opportunity] instructor deviated from the authorized topic and content which was provided. To prevent further instances, all unit instructors will receive additional training on the importance of following army equal opportunity training requirements.” Thank goodness the army is looking into why a rogue equal opportunity instructor went off script while wasting the valuable time of the soldiers stationed in Fort Gordon, Georgia. If soldiers and sailors do not get proper diversity training, they will be unable to perform their duties in war and peace time.
|How did these soldiers defeat Nazi Germany and Japan without diversity training?|
The beauty of the military has always been that it is purely voluntary and is able to bring together people from all walks of life and turn them into cohesive units focused on the same goal of serving with honor while protecting the United States. When I served in the military there was no diversity training or anything close to it. Boot camp was designed to break people down and build them back up into soldiers and sailors who recognize nothing about their fellow soldiers and sailors other than the fact that they are soldiers and sailors. Unfortunately, social engineering (see liberalism) has become part of military “training.”
