President Trump Delivers for Coal Miners

Posted in Bureaucracy, Politics5 months ago • Written by Defender Of LibertyNo Comments

President Trump delivered for coal miners by signing a resolution to roll back a federal regulation intended to destroy what is left of the coal industry, but you might have missed it because the “mainstream media did not cover it. The radical agenda by the left-wing media, federal government bureaucrats, judicial activists, and useful idiots to sabotage the Trump administration is overshadowing the achievements of the administration. One such accomplishment is H.J. Resolution 38.

The resolution was resolved by the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives to negate Obama’s Stream Protection Rule (published at 81 Fed. Reg. 93066) issued December 20, 2016. The edict issued by Obama went into effect January 17, 2016, one day before Trump’s inauguration, and is designed to do what Hillary Clinton promised during her presidential campaign, destroy the coal industry. Clinton boasted on the campaign trail, “We’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business.” Her statement is what American coal miners who were under attack by the Obama administration for eight years have come to expect from Democrats. However, what Obama, Clinton, and the establishment did not bargain for is President Trump; a president who listens to the American people.

Although Trump’s signing of H.J. Resolution 38 is a positive step towards nullifying tyrannical regulations, it only abolishes one act among thousands that hamstring the U.S. economy and harm American workers. However, Trump’s signature on the resolution is another sign that he plans to keep the promises he made on the campaign trail, which makes him an anomaly in U.S. politics.

Trump needs to continue to abolish the pernicious rules that destroy businesses thereby obliterating countless jobs from the economy; the power to regulate is the power to destroy. Trump’s signing of H.J. Resolution 38 had to be done because the coal industry is on life support, but there is more hard work ahead that is going to require legislation and a dramatic downsizing and neutering of a firmly entrenched, permanent bureaucracy that is waging war on the Trump administration and the American people.

A frustrated conservative who is very concerned that America has entered its twilight years. Dan has a B.A. in political philosophy and an MBA with a concentration in finance. He has an honorable discharge from the United States Navy after serving for several years after graduating from high school. Please share this with liberals and RINOs because there is nothing better than upsetting them. The U.S. is no longer a constitutional republic, but rather an oligarchy. We live in a post constitutional America where competing tribes sell their votes for the promise of freebies. America is on the cusp of being lost to Marxists and their army of bureaucrats unless the American people move outside of their comfort zone and get involved the same way Marxists have gotten involved by infiltrating the political, educational, and bureaucratic systems.
